ReviewSpecification

The Weber Q120 is constructed with robust materials, and customers seem pleased with its small footprint, which is perfect for small patios and portability. Most people were pleased with the porcelain enameled, cast iron grill-rack, which is very durable. The two folding worktables that are included with the unit seemed to be a positive feature for customers.

Customers commented that the unit was aesthetically appealing, and the cast aluminum parts were, on the whole, rustproof. A few buyers reported that they struggled to attach a larger canister to the unit and had problems with leaking hoses. However, most people didn’t seem to have any such issues.

People were pleased overall with the speed at which they could set up and dismantle the grill. On average, customers said that it took under twenty minutes.

Cooking with the Weber Q120

Overall, customers provided very positive feedback about the Weber Q120. Customers were pleased with the overall temperature that the grill achieves – 325-degrees to 425-degress Fahrenheit, but some people reported that the unit struggles to achieve 400-degrees Fahrenheit in cooler weather. Others reported that the grill gets too hot, and that the outside of meat and chicken was charred, but the inside was still uncooked.

Most customers reported very even heat distribution due to the porcelain enameled, cast iron grill-rack, which also provided excellent meat searing abilities. However, a handful of customers complained that the flame did not spread across the entire length of the burner, which could be a concern for some.

There have been no complaints about the push button ignition system failing to light, and many customers commented that the grill was extremely economical regarding liquid propane consumption, which reduces the overall cost of ownership.

One final plus, which is a plus in anyone’s opinion, is the fact that the Weber Q120 is very easy to clean. The removable drip pan, and the porcelain enameled grill-rack, was small enough to fit into a sink or dishwasher, and came up clean with very little effort.
